Located just outside of Scottsdale, families looking for a taste of the southwest should head to this desert paradise featuring 328 guestrooms and residential-style villas and suites with spacious living and dining areas, full kitchens and private balconies. The resort offers five lighted tennis courts, three pools, bike rentals at the resort’s tennis center, onsite family dining at the Lariat Grill and Friday night seafood buffets. Gather the family for campfire storytelling and Friday and Saturday night dive-in movies by the pool. Mom and dad can unwind at The Spa at Carefree offering a wide range of treatments and services.

Environment and attitude of every one their made my visit excellent, I almost hated to leave. A beautiful place with pool and walking areas. A great Spa and restaurant with a nicely stocked bar.
Food was excellent and the wait staff was happy to see me weather it was right at opening or close to closing.

The variety of classes available, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the activity and reception staff was excellent! We learned 2 new different types of yoga and had a lot of fun learning pickle ball too!
