The hotel is an older property and needs updating. I did notice a musty odor upon entering and I noticed there’s a moisture collection bag hanging in the closet. On the second night of my stay, I noticed small roaches crawling on the room divider, close to the sofa area. I called the front desk and they did move me to another room.
The breakfast buffet was pretty good with several choices to please most everyone.
Other than the few items mentioned above, my stay was otherwise pleasant.

I had good experience in Houtan with this group of hotel. So that I booked here. But the room has a bad odor, even the corridor also smells with detergent. Ice maker not working in 4th floor.
Breakfast is good.
