Located right off Interstate 35 is Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wichita East. Amenities include a 24-hour reception desk, barbecue grills, bus and truck parking, a business center, daily housekeeping, a complimentary breakfast buffet, complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel, an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, laundry facilities, and RV parking. This hotel is pet-friendly, as well. Rooms feature coffee and tea makers, flat screen televisions, and hair dryers. Cribs, family-sized rooms, and kitchens are available upon request, as well. Nearby attractions include Exploration Place, Kansas Aviation Museum, Explore Museum of World Treasures, Wichita Art Museum, Sedgwick County Zoo, and Botanica. Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.

Older hotel. It was ok. Thin towels...only had two. Cockroach ...live in kitchen. Lot of long term occupants and loud 1 night after midnight. Safe lighted parking. Price right and worked for our needs.

Worn Out and Run Down

From the time your drive up, the buildings appear to have suffered years of deferred maintenance.
The room was clean. Thats is the best I can say. Lamp was broken in half with top part completely missing. Why leave it in the room? The lever switching from bath tub to shower was broken leaving a tiny stub for you to figure how to operate. Everything appeared worn out including the finish on the sink and bath fixtures.
The night person was also the front desk clerk, morning breakfast cook, maintain the tables, prepare food, and check out person. Sigh.... You can see how that worked out.
Spend the extra money and stay next door, which we did the next night.
