My wife looked at the GPS on our trip to Columbus, GA and said, "The hotel is in Alabama!" How pleasantly surprised we were when we arrived at the Hampton Inn & Suites Phenix City-Columbus Area. Less than 2 miles from our conference in downtown Columbus, the hotel was great! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a delicious breakfast were just what we needed to make our stay perfect!

This is probably one of the worst places I've stayed! The bathroom faucet leaked, a drawer in the cabinet kept sliding open, there was no shampoo, the mat for the shower was already wet as if it wasn't clean and when we checked out, we learned that the original price quoted was higher than quoted. We were told it would be corrected but she couldn't do it until her manager arrived. I'll never stay ay this hotel again.
