In a residential area three blocks from the Malecon, Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias is great for a casual, relaxing vacation. This rustic hotel has 56 rooms, offering a standard room with two double beds and triple rooms with two double beds and a single. The onsite restaurant, the Bugambilias Restaurant, serves a variety of cuisine on the menu. The hotel’s gem is the spacious courtyard and pool, which all the rooms overlook.

Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias

We really like this hotel. It has a a quiet and lovely central court yard. The furnishings are worn but the decor is very Mexican. Our rooms were clean. The staff is pleasant and the cleaning staff sing as they work.

Fine, but..

The hotel has a high fence with razor wire along the top. Not a great 1st impression, but it's clean and pretty inside. The rooms are built around a gorgeous looking pool, it's a lovely rustic hacienda feel. The facilities are a little older, but nothing bad. The only thing that really bothered me were the beds. They. Are. HARD. If you need extra support for your back, this is the place for you.
