This family-owned hotel is ideal for a small family. Rooms are set up with either one queen bed or two twins, plus space for a rollaway. Kitchenettes are available in some rooms complete with stovetop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes and utensils. Other amenities include blackout drapes, free Wi-Fi and a free continental breakfast. The hotel bakes fresh bread every morning to go with breakfast.
The Airport Inn lives up to its name, as it is a block from the airport. Barrow is small, so most attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. The Inn also offers guided tours of the area that last about two hours. The Arctic Ocean is mere minutes from your hotel. Start exploring the shoreline at the iconic Whale Bone Arch, where you can keep an eye out for marine wildlife while admiring the endless horizon. You can even dip your toe in the frigid ice-filled waters. Visit the Inupiat Heritage Center, an amazing museum that tells the story of the people who have lived in the area for more than 1,500 years. For its comfort, quality and airport location, the Airport Inn is a convenient choice for your family adventure in Barrow.

Very nice hotel! The clerk was super helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the village and called a cab for us. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. I definitely wasn’t expecting such a nice place for the price in the Arctic. Next time we’re in Utqiagvik we definitely will return to the Airport Inn. Just FYI, it’s a bit of a walk to get to it from the RAVN terminal. Not terrible but if you’re not comfortable walking considering calling a cab. It’s $6.
We had the best stay on our vacation very clean will return again great for the family or business trip. The Airport Inn is just across the street from the Airport every were we went everyone was so nice and helpful.
