The Alger Falls Motel is a classic, no frills, budget friendly roadside motel perfect for families looking to break up a drive or stay one or two nights. The 16 motel rooms offer guests a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, electric heat/air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi while two cottages, one large at 950 square feet with cathedral ceilings, the other smaller at 650 square feet, can accommodate 10 or six people respectively and feature fully equipped kitchens. The Alger has an onsite pool table and coin laundry in a recreation room, outdoor grills for guest use and like many roadside motels of yesteryear, offers at-door parking.

Good Choice

Great place. The room was very clean and comfortable. A little small, but well equipped ...refrigerator with larger than normal freezer section for a smaller unit, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer in bathroom, lots of electric outlets. Beds were very comfortable. Only minus was that the water pressure in the shower was extremely low.

Excellent stay, room was clean and comfortable, staff and manager very friendly. Good location. Overall very pleasant experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time we're in Munising. Coffee was great too!
