We had money taken form our credit card even though we cancelled weeks before the dates. We provided the confirmation of cancellation email from booking.com but they ignored that. I rang their reception they stated that they didn't even have a booking for us. WHAT WENT WRONG. IS IT BLATANT THEFT?

the villa looks as in the images. all good apart from some wear and tear here and there. basically the owner dorsnt really want to maintain the villa as new. Its not an upmarket villa. there's no serviceas such apart from cleaning. The lady just wanted to get my balance payment right from the day we arrived. I had half already paid when booking. I paid the rest in cash as their machine doesnt work.I asked for receipt which I never received till date after asking atleast 10 times. very unprofessional behavior by the manager.
in the name of toiletries they just provide a bar soap which they didnt renew till I asked them on our 4thday of staying.
the place is far away from Seminyak or Double Six beach. so you need to be ready to walk a lot to even eat something proper. They dont give breakfast either so its not even an option to order some food or ask for a laundry service. oh I am not asking for free.
oneday the bikes were for rent the other day they were not.
if you have other party going on in the adjecent villa than forget about eelaxing silence. Happened to us. evey morning there's some noise from the neighbourhood.

overall a not so great experience mainly because of the host and location. not recommend for families with small kids.
