Arenal Kioro offers families views of Arenal Volcano and is close to the National Park. Enjoy one of the 53 family and couple suites, with one or two queen beds, coffee makers, mini-bars, TV’s, complimentary Wi-Fi and Jacuzzi tubs. The hotel has pool, a game room with Ping Pong tables and pool tables, a fitness center and a gift shop with necessities and souvenirs. Parking is free and laundry services are available for guests, too. Dine at one of the two onsite restaurants, Heliconias (open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Orquideas (open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and parents who want some alone time can sip cocktails at the bar — Bar El Higueron.

Spectacular views.

The gardens and floral displays were fabulous. And the photos from our room of the volcano and gardens are the perfect memories of our time at Kioro. The service and staff were helpful and breakfast buffet was great. I would highly recommend Kioro Suites and Spa.

Gorgeous view

Slightly outside of the downtown area but wasn’t an issue for us. The room was beautiful, the view gorgeous and the massages at the spa were terrific. Breakfast was included and the fruit was ripe and delicious. Omelet station was just ok. We did have a small issue with ants in our room which seemed to be attracted to the spa oils.
