This outdoor center provides canoeing and rafting experiences along the French Broad River, which passes through the Biltmore Estate (no whitewater rafting). Trips are offered every hour from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as a sunset trip for a 7-mile, three-hour float. The trips are self-guided, with the center providing all necessary equipment for the float, including life jackets for children as young as 2. Pack a picnic for a lunch stop along the river.
