Since 1936, the Balboa Fun Zone has been providing families with games and a Ferris wheel ride along the Pacific Coast, plus breathtaking views of Newport Beach. Ride the Ferris wheel, which has become a landmark in Newport Beach, and play old-fashioned games in the arcade. Ferris wheel rides are $4 per person. Hours of operation are Sundays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
