Water, mountains, trees, and great trails add up to a great day of outdoor fun and quality family time. From Bear Lake, you can make a two-mile roundtrip to Alberta Falls, go up a steeper trail to Emerald Lake (four-mile roundtrip), or simply meander around the one-mile trail circling Bear Lake itself, a walk which is suitable for all ages, strollers included. Parking fills up quickly, so plan to arrive early. Alternately, park in a lower lot and take a free shuttle up to the lake.
