Enjoy a scenic tour of the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains aboard its scenic railway. Trains depart from a historic depot, built in 1905, and run guests through the Chattahoochee National Forest. The 4-hour, 26-mile roundtrip excursion stops for 2 hours in McCaysville/Copperhill, where riders can explore the small town, grab a bite, and shop for crafts and antiques in the area known as the Antique Capital of Georgia. During the winter, the railway operates shorter Santa Express rides young kids will especially enjoy. Trains offer vintage, climate-controled cars or open-air rail cars.
