The Brooklyn Children’s Museum offers tons of hands-on fun for infants to age 8. There’s a variety of experiential learning opportunities, such as kid-friendly introduction to the “neighborhoods of Brooklyn.”  Toddlers will enjoy the exhibit devoted to sensory, sand and water play, while pretend play opportunities throughout will engage pre-school and school-age kids. The museum offers “Pay As You Wish Hours” on Thursdays (2 to 6 p.m.) and Sundays (4 to 7 p.m.).
