The second largest municipal park in the country, North Little Rock’s Burns Park offers a variety of wholesome activities that will keep the kids amused for hours. A rocket ship playground, a BMX bike park, equestrian trails and “Funland,” an area with a train and old-fashioned rides (open weekends seasonally), are among the many amusements. A drive-through Holiday Lights display (fee) is open the entire month of December.
