While the hike at Cap Rock is short (a 0.3 mile loop), what might be most interesting about it is that it’s fully-accessible – a huge plus for strollers, walkers, or wheelchairs. The parking lot is on the left of Keys View Road, and there are picnic tables and bathrooms there. Look for informative signs about the plants – and how they’ve survived the park’s harsh conditions – to make this an educational outing, too.
