Once the country estate of seven generations of the Livingston family, visitors can explore the restored mansion, exhibit galleries, carriage trails, four formal gardens and the grounds. Robert R. Livingston, Jr. is known for drafting the Declaration of Independence, negotiating the Louisiana Purchase, and more. The house is available for tours April through October, Wednesdays through Sundays, and on weekends November and December. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for children over age 12 and free for kids ages 11 and under.
