This building, which dates back to 1796 , serves as an interactive museum for kids to learn about democracy and citizenship. Guided and self-guided tours are available, as well as hands-on activity areas for kids. In the summer, the Old State House is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while from mid-October through June, it is open daily. It is closed for state and federal holidays.
