What began as a crocodile farm is today a home to an intimate conservationist zoo that lets kids get close to monkeys, macaws, snakes, and deer — even petting, holding, and feeding some of the animals. Crocodiles are still here, but don’t get too close to those! If you’re visiting at lunch time, stop at the Coffee Cafe cafeteria for subs, salads, Mexican coffee, and desserts.
The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children from 0-5 years of age are admitted free of charge, children from 6-12 enter for $20, and adult (13 and up) admission is $30. Senior discounts and group rates are available.
