Located at the Everglades National Park Gulf Coast Visitor Center in Everglades City, this park concession does tours of the watery maze of mangroves and islands known as Ten Thousand Islands to look for birds, manatees, and dolphins in a saltwater habitat. Its Mangrove Wilderness boat tour takes you deep into the swamp where alligators, raccoons, bob cats, mangrove fox squirrels and rich variety of birds live.

Have a look at the exhibits of manatees, birds, and fish on the second floor of the visitor center; the registration desk is located below. You can also rent a canoe here and get information about ranger programs in season.
