Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Little Assawoman Bay, this state park offers 3 miles of ocean and 344 acres of sand on the barrier island. Families will love to play in the ocean and build sandcastles with the white sands of Fenwick Island State Park. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the summer months.

A designated surfing zone is great for those seeking to catch some waves, too. Families will find umbrella and beach chair rentals, as well as a bathhouse with restrooms, showers, changing rooms and concessions.
