On Little Exuma, look for the Beach Access sign in the tiny settlement of Forbes Hill for the two coved beaches at the end of a short, rocky road. They are something of a local’s secret. One beach has a long, coved stretch bordered by usually calm waters. A picnic pavilion, tire swing, and shady Australian pine trees make it an old-fashioned beach destination. Follow the path to the south for a small coved beach with rougher waters and a rugged, rocky appeal.
