Construction began on this fort in 1868, and it was already considered outdated before it was completed in the 1870s. But kids will love crawling through the different underground passageways, seeing the 18-ton guns and crossing over the moat footbridge. Every Monday at noon between November and March, the Bermuda Island’s Pipe Band and highland dancers perform a half-hour show.
