Bermuda is full of fascinating history, and Fort St. Catherine – built in the early 1600s – is another place illustrating that. On your self-guided tour of this fort-turned-history-museum, you’ll learn about some of Bermuda’s military background and browse the old exhibits. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of the island from the top of the walls, if anyone in your party would just prefer to stroll around the grounds instead of look at cannons. It’s open on Saturdays from early June through the end of August between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., with 20-minute tours offered four times per day. Don’t miss the cannon firing at 2 p.m.!
