Set on 70 acres on Fota Island, Fota Wildlife Park is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Ireland. A 15-minute drive from Cork City, the park has walking paths through a free roaming animal and bird park. Families will like the smooth walking paths, onsite food options and play areas throughout the park for younger children.
To get a behind-the-scenes experience and help feed the animals, families can opt for the VIP Family Experience. Family passes are available (two adults and up to four children). Children up to age 2 are free.
Daily, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Last entry at 3 p.m. Closed December 24, 25 and 26.
