Your Old West experience wouldn’t be complete without a ride on an authentic steam locomotive. The Ghost Town and Calico Railroad has been running through Knott’s since 1952, carrying passengers through Ghost Town and around the rest of the park. At the midway point of the journey, the train is stopped by bumbling thieves who are good for a few laughs. But the real thrill here might be just riding on a piece of history.
