Sightseeing adventures can be arranged through the resort to join in one of Gregory Perira’s safaris. Full day volcano hikes to the top of Mt. Liamuiga (the original name of the island before Christopher Columbus named it for himself upon his discovery) or half-day rainforest hikes through the Valley of the Giants get the family up close and personal with the island’s landscape, of which monkeys are a prominent feature. Off-road Jeep Safaris and ziplining adventures are also part of the fun.
