Just off of the Golden Circle is one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Up the road from Selfoss Geyser, Gullfoss is two waterfalls spilling along the White River in South Iceland. The upper waterfall drops 36 feet, while the lower falls drop nearly 70 feet. The power of the falls can be felt before you descend the stairs from the visitor’s center and gift shop; it’s a must-see when visiting the island.
