In the early morning, before the beaches start to crowd with sun-drenched bodies and the day becomes too hot, you can horseback ride on the Old Railway Trailsof South Shore Park. Group and private trail rides can be booked through Mike Watson Horse Trail Rides for all ages and levels of experience. When not staring in awe at the incredible views, you’ll ride with a guide under tall cedar trees, past fields of wild mustard, blooming cacti, and pink, blue, and white oleander. Rides are about 90 minutes, taking guests through the back roads, old railway trails, tribe roads, beach paths and beaches.
