Lake Padden is a well-loved 900-acre park that offers outdoorsy fun for families. A 2.6-mile woodsy trail circles the lake for jogging and easy mountain biking — kids love it and families flock here in all seasons. The park also contains a swimming area, a playground, picnic shelters, multipurpose fields, an outdoor basketball court, fishing docks and flocks of Mallards. Watch for herons and bald eagles, too.
