Little Traverse History Museum

Attraction

Little Traverse History Museum

100 Depot St, Petoskey, MI

The museum is located in a bay-front park in the former Pere Marquette Railway Depot, built in 1892. Featuring images and artifacts from around the Little Traverse Bay region, the quaint museum’s collection includes artifacts from local Indigenous people, such as baskets and canoe; a passenger pigeon, a Victorian parlor, and a well-regarded Hemingway exhibit. It will take about half an hour, the perfect time frame to sneak in a little culture before blowing off steam right outside in the park.

Hours and Admission
$3 admission, free for children. Open Monday through Saturday starting Memorial Day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
