On your way back from Cape Flattery, stop at the Makah Cultural & Research Center in tiny Neah Bay for a one-of-a-kind history lesson scaled just right for kids. The Makah Nation’s Cultural Center features 55,000 ancient artifacts recovered from a 500-year-old Makah village buried in a mudslide near Ozette, 20 miles south. Kids will especially enjoy the full-scale replica of a longhouse and canoes.
