Situated along the downtown Corpus Christi Seawall and near Harrison’s Landing sits a tribute to the late pop star, Selena. Selena Quintanilla-Perez was killed by her former manager in Corpus Christi. The Mirador del Flor or Overlook of the Flower honors the late Latina with a life-size bronze statue in her likeness, dressed as the fashion icon that she was at the time.
