This is a great surf school for beginners and kids, but also good for skilled surfers who want the scoop on the best waves. The surf lesson always starts on the sand, where families will learn the basics. Then it’s off to the water for about two hours. The surf instructor is always in the water with the students and it’s always a 2:1 ratio with students to instructor.
If surfing isn’t for you, Mita Aventuras also offers stand up paddle board lessons, hiking, snorkeling and mountain bike tours. The hiking and mountain biking tours take place on Monkey Mountain, which doesn’t actually have any monkeys on it. The trails are good for beginners, as well, and the guides are always with you.
Things to Know/Bring
