It is hard to miss Mozart’s birthplace, with its bright yellow façade and hordes of people standing before it in Old Town Salzburg, attempting to get an unobstructed photo. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in this house in 1756 and tours are offered daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with extended hours in July and August. Mozart was only born in this location; his home was located near Markatplatz and features another museum dedicated to the composer.
