Have you or your child dreamt of being a cowgirl or cowboy? On your next trip to Texas, check out the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth for insight into the history of cowgirls. The museum celebrates women who have impacted the south and the country lifestyle. Exhibits include fashion of the cowgirl and her native american women counterpart, as well as photos, facts and the hall of fame of cowgirls. After learning about the cowgirl and her lifestyle, try it out for yourself on the Bronc Ride. Saddle up and see how long you can stay on and if you have what it takes to be a cowgirl, too! The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and children 13 and older, $8 for children 3 to 12 and toddlers and infants 2 and younger are free.
