This 7.5-acre sculpture park may look like trash from a distance, but look closer and you’ll see that, using trash as his medium, artist Noah Purifoy created remarkable sculptures meant to slowly decay in the desert. Grab a brochure at the entrance for a self-guided tour. Kids should be inspired to dig through your junk and get creative when you get home, too.
