Pack a lunch or snack for Picnic Mountain Picnic Area, with a sweeping look across dunes (stop No. 3) and North Bar Overlook and Picnic Area. If you only make one stop, make it the Lake Michigan overlook (stops 9 and 10) with stellar views down 450-foot dunes.
