Nicknamed “Beach of the Dead,” Playa los Muertos is more lively than one would think! A small graveyard nearby gives the beach its name. Be sure to take a stroll through the site to see the beautifully decorated graves.
The ocean water is calm here, as much of the surf first hits the many large rocks situated further out in the sea. If you bring along some snorkel gear, you will surely be in for treat, too.
Lifeguards are on duty during the day and restrooms are available here.
Things to Know/Bring
Note that this beach requires a short walk along the sand or across some rocks to access it. You will want to bring your own chairs, beach gear and food and drink with you.
