The Providence State House is a sight to see — and you can’t really miss its massive white building surrounded by plush green fields for families to picnic or play on. Free, guided tours are offered Monday through Friday, at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tours are about 50 minutes long. During the tour, families will see the Bell Room, home to the state’s replica Liberty Bell; the State Room, which houses a portrait of George Washington; and the Rotunda, where a large marble dome will leave guests awestruck.
