This is not the beach to hit when you want to play in the surf and relax. Rodeo Beach, instead, is visited for its fantastic views, roaring waves, and windswept beaches that beckon kite flyers to be out in droves. This beach is also good for shell seeking, especially with the sand colored with red and green pebbles. A quiet lagoon is visible inland. Picnic areas overlook the beach, and restrooms are available at the northernmost beach parking lot.
