One thing you’ll notice during your family’s Everglades vacation is that there are no shortage of visitors’ centers. At this one, you’ll find a gift shop, the famous Anhinga Trail with ranger tours (not too long–takes 45 minutes or so), safety information, and more. Note that black vultures can be fond of hopping on cars and pecking at the rubber, so make sure to get one of the provided tarps to cover your vehicle.
