Salem Maritime National Historic Site

This site contains a number of attractions showcasing Salem’s history as a seafaring town. The Customs House, Derby House, Narbonne House, West India Goods Store and Wharves are available to visit daily, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The nearby Derby Wharf also features The Friendship, a three-masted Salem East Indiaman built in 1797 and reconstructed.
The ship is open for tours, May through October, and scheduled tours November through April.
