Balboa Park’s Museum of Art is the oldest art museum in the area and features a permanent collection of Spanish and Italian masters, 19th and 20th century American paintings and sculptures, and South Asian paintings. The museum offers guided tours, activities for kids, and music and dance performances. Kids can enjoy the Search & Find activity sheets to help them seek out art and learn more about what they are seeing in the museum. The museum is closed on Wednesdays but open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the other days. Kids 6 and younger are admitted free.
