Visit an hour or two before high tide to hear the famous thunder sound of the water crashing into this cave-like rock formation. A path with guardrails takes you right down to Thunder Hole–but expect to get sprayed by the water! The sounds vary based on the day, so not all visitors hear the distinctive “thunder” effect, but if you’re lucky and conditions cooperate, it’s a fun stop to amaze yourself at the power of the ocean.
