Tubbs Hill is a popular 120-acre nature preserve on the banks of Lake Coeur d’Alene that includes a number of hiking trails for people of variety of skill levels. The Nature Trail is slightly more than two miles long with signs that help parents teach their children about the trees, plants and wildlife of this region. Although the trail is not paved, the crushed gravel surface is flat and well-maintained. Some light-weight strollers may not function well in the gravel. The Nature Trail is also the starting point for the child-friendly Mudgy and Millie Trail.
