Washington Crossing Historic Park

1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, 84070, PA

This is where General George Washington and the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River on Christmas in 1776. Today, you can visit the park and cross the bridge yourself. In fact, annual reenactments are held on Christmas Day each year. Other notable landmarks include Bowman’s Hill Tower and the Thompson-Neely House.

The grounds are free to explore and perfect for a hike and picnic lunch. You can also navigate the park via guided tours, offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seasonally.
