With views of the marina, the Avalon Hotel’s has a beautiful location. The boutique hotel provides 15 intimate room spaces with a king or queen bed, some balconies, in-room DVD and CD players, refrigerators, microwaves and 30-inch, flat-screen TV’s. Guests will enjoy complimentary continental breakfast daily, a rooftop lounge and free Internet service. Guests can borrow binoculars, laptops and GPS units from the front desk. The hotel also provides a taxi service from the boat terminal to the property.

The Avalon Hotel was Amazing!!!

AWESOME WONDERFUL STAY in this CHARMING HOTEL!
I felt like I was treated like a Queen!
Thanks to my husband, choosing the BEST!
The Avalon Hotel was PERFECT for our celebration stay!
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in Avalon, Catalina and the hotel was more than
we could ever have hoped for! (We’ve stayed at others, and this IS SUPERIOR!)
We ate a delicious continental breakfast every morning in the lush garden patio &
enjoyed the waterfall with swimming koi fish in the pond!
Nature surrounded us with singing birds, humming birds, even saw Mr Woodpecker!
Enjoyed our evenings in the garden drinking wine by the fireside. (Wine selection is great!)
Upon entering the hotel room, it was fresh smelling, and when I opened the curtains…. wonderful ocean view! Our room was very very clean throughout!
The room was decorated with the warm and cozy décor, very welcoming & comfortable.
Some extras that gave that unexpected special touch that were provided…
that I totally appreciated... were the chocolate candies in the dish, 2 bottled waters & 2 Snapple juices in the fridge, a safe for valuables, a room air conditioner keeping the room at the perfect temperature, books to read, large TV with remote, nice comfortable desk area with pens and paper.
Ceiling fan with lighting, clean bathroom included with bathrobes, soft towels & linen,
quality products provided for showering and afterwards. Even beach towels in a tote bag were available if needed!
My husband loved the balcony, such an added bonus!
Chair cushions were clean and so comfortable. Weather was nice and the view was breathtaking. Enjoyed our using them!
Front desk personnel we met were very friendly, giving exceptional service and so professional!
If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! Definitely recommending The Avalon Hotel
to all my friends and family! Thanks, hubby! Will definitely return again and again!!!

We stayed two nights recently. Great downtown location. Very clean. Free taxi to/from the dock if needed. Walking distance otherwise. Continental breakfast in beautiful courtyard with hummingbirds and koi fish. Roof top deck with stunning harbor views. Laurie at the front desk was extremely helpful and very friendly even though she’s never been to Boston.
