My wife and I just got back from our first trip to Isla Mujeres. Awesome place to visit. I liked the laid back atmosphere of the island. The Mia was more than we expected in every way. My wife and I are avid snorkelers and try to incorporate snorkelling in most of our warm climate vacations. We loved the fact that you could do some pretty cool snorkelling right from the hotel. (Providing you got up early enough to beat the multiple tour groups that flocked in every day,) I was able to photograph a sting ray, Multiple Barracuda, Trumpet fish as well as a multitude of colorful reef dwellers all within sight of the Mia. Got a chance one day to explore the Kings bath tidal pool as well pretty cool!
The hotel staff where the best I have experienced on a Mexico vacation.
Rooms where Great!
Seriously can't think of anything to complain about on this trip, unless maybe it was the fact we had to leave for home.
Another thing.. The place is decorated with very unique pieces. The owners have done a great job of creating a unique atmosphere and experience. One that stands out in our list of previous destinations.

We had such an amazing vacation at Mia Reef, beautiful property, snorkeling is awesome I would snorkel every morning before it got to busy. Water is beautiful and warm. Hotel was great-clean. All staff at Mia is wonderful, special shout out to Nicolas (neco) a waiter who was just a beautiful soul, took wonderful care of us each day with his beautiful smile. Food was also great. I ate sea food everyday, loved the shrimp taco's at the cerciche bar and Rueben the waiter over there was also great! We are already planning our next trip down in 2020!!!!
