We are staying in condo 507 - Beach Resort on Sandy Cay Rd. When we opened the door there was a stale/musky smell. The sliding door to the balcony was broken and the kitchen facet was loose and wobbly. Needs to be tightened. Needs to be tightened. Notified the rental company - no reply!
Be aware - all prosperities must NOT be Smoke Free. Guests in 506 sit on balcony and smoke. So frustrating that we cannot sit on balcony or open door to hopefully let the stale/musky smell air out! Disappointed that this property was rated over a 4 out of 5.

This was our first family vacation with our one and a half year-old son to Destin, FL. This condo (512) was exactly as described. It was relatively clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the pool was very nice and also very clean, and it was only a little over 100 yards to the beach. The included beach service associated with this condo was a nice feature as well. Not all rooms offer this feature.The only thing I would suggest would be to better stock it with laundry detergent, dish detergent, trash bags, and toilet paper. I would also complement the responsiveness to questions and communication from the owner and association. As far as location, it was very safe to walk with our son, and there were a few restaurants nearby. Not a lot of shopping, but everything was a short drive away. The resort itself was very clean, and offered enough features for our family without being too big. This was a great trip for our young family. As for the city of Destin and the Miramar Beach area, it was beautiful. Crystal clear water, and white sand beaches. We will definitely be back!
